Our products are stored in different warehouses throughout the United States and are subject to a 2-10-day lead time. Though the shipping method shown at checkout is for UPS Ground, your package may arrive via Fed Ex, USPS Priority Mail, or LTL Freight. The transit time shown at checkout is an estimate, NOT a guarantee, and will vary by location. If timing is of the essence, contact us to see if we can get your tiles to you according to your schedule.

Orders weighing more than 160 pounds may be delivered on a pallet in a truck with a lift gate by a carrier of our choice. We will notify you when the shipment leaves and the carrier will contact you prior to its arrival to set up a delivery appointment. If you have access to a loading dock or can pick up at a nearby distribution center (carrier’s choice), contact us to have these savings passed on to you.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and International

We at TileBuys are intensely proud knowing that our products have been installed and are loved each day on 4 different continents. However, shipping natural stone to locations that require air or ferry freight can lead to a significant expense that varies widely from one day to the next. We are happy to ship our products anywhere in the world, but we will need an opportunity to shop around for the best rates to ensure it is an economical decision for you. Simply contact us with your desired order and delivery address and we will get to work.

PLEASE NOTE: International orders may be subject to import duties assigned by the receiving country. These rates are often variable based on criteria we do not have access to. We ask that you use local resources to learn what you might have to pay in advance of placing an order. Unless explicitly stated, these costs will not be included in our quotes and will not be our responsibility to pay. If an order is refused and returned, all freight costs will be deducted from your refund.

Safe Transit Guarantee

Inspect each delivery and contact us within 3 days. Include photos of damaged tiles

We guarantee that every domestic order of non-clearance items from TileBuys will arrive undamaged and will be materially comparable to inspection samples provided by us. However, putting thin sheets of fragile stone into the hands and machinery of the freight and package delivery industry means some damage will occur no matter how carefully we pack them. We will replace broken chips or tiles at no cost to you.

When possible, inspect the delivery before signing to receive it. Take photos of any damage and note the damage on the delivery receipt prior to the carrier departing. If the damage is obvious and severe, refuse to accept the shipment.

Within 3 days of delivery, inspect all materials more thoroughly without removing them from individual packaging. Document any damage that was not visible at delivery with photos of the broken products in their original packaging and we will send replacements to you as quickly as possible.

There may be a fee to replace any tile that was removed from its clear plastic packaging despite having been damaged in transit or if an order cannot be inspected and accounted for within 3 days of delivery. If you are not available to take delivery or inspect the shipment within 3 days of delivery, please contact us in advance to discuss the safest timing of your delivery.

Above all, we want you to be pleased with your TileBuys.com experience, so please let us know about any damage at all as soon as possible with photos of each damaged tile and we will do what is right.

 

Free Samples Shipping Program

Contact us to request a credit for the cost of shipping samples to be applied to the project order

When you find a tile on our site that captures your imagination, we ask that you purchase a sample for a closer, in-person inspection to be certain you love it. If you do love it and want to purchase it for a project requiring 20 or more square feet, we will apply a credit to the project order for the cost of shipping the sample. Simply contact us to have an invoice prepared that reflects this offer.

Natural stone products are as unique as they are beautiful, and no two tiles will ever be identical. Purchasing the product desired sooner rather than later after buying samples will ensure that you are buying from the same lot of material you have inspected.

 

Returns for Any Reason

Inspect each delivery and contact us within 5 days if you want to return any materials to us.

All sales are final, though most orders can be returned for any reason, so long as you are able to NOTIFY US WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE ORIGINAL DELIVERY. All materials need to be returned to our warehouse in its original condition and sealed packaging at your expense within 30 days of the original delivery, the original shipping charges and any shipping costs we incur cannot be refunded and the refund on materials may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. We recommend the use of a reputable shipping company with a trackable delivery service, as items that are broken during return shipping or return shipments that do not arrive will not qualify for a refund.

Time is of the essence as the restocking fees will increases over time, so contact us as soon as possible once the decision to return a product has been made. If we can accept the return, we assign a Return Materials Authorization number and provide delivery instructions for your return. Returns without an RMA number will be refused by the warehouse and returned to you. Once we have received the return, please allow 2 weeks for inspection before a refund will be issued.

Unfortunately, some items simply cannot be returned once they leave our warehouse. This includes, but is not limited to samples, custom orders, product not in its original packaging, small orders of 20 square feet or less, closeout and clearance items, products with any dimension that is more than 24" long, etc. If you want to know whether a particular item can be returned before you order it, contact us.

Sample Material Guarantee

If you feel we have delivered products that are materially different than a sample we provided or the photos shown on the product page, we will have the materials returned to us at our expense and the order will be completely refunded. You must contact us within 3 days of delivery to start this process.

 

No Claims After Individual Tile Packaging is Removed

Please inspect all materials prior to installation as we hold no liability toward installation costs and no claims will be accepted after products are removed from their individual transparent packaging. The North American Tile Council recommends ordering 10-15% more than is needed for tiles and chips broken during the installation process.
