Calacatta Marble

Calacatta (Calcutta) marble is arguably the most luxurious of the natural stones. Known colloquially as the “rich man’s marble”, Calacatta is quarried in Italy and was a favorite of the Roman Emperors. Calacatta is less gray than Carrara marble varieties. It has an ivory base and veins in greys and golds.

Mother of Pearl
